Scope
This document specifies the physical, chemical, biological and radioactive indicators and requirements of indoor air quality, and describes the measurement methods of each indicator. This document applies to residential and office buildings, and other indoor environments refer to this document.

Technical requirements for key indicators

Chemical indicators: Formaldehyde is determined by high performance liquid chromatography (detection limit 0.0003mg/m3), benzene series are recommended by thermal desorption-gas chromatography, and TVOC determination requires the use of mass spectrometer detector.

Biological indicators: Total bacteria count ≤1500CFU/m3, sampling requires the use of six-stage sieve impact microbial sampler.


Implementation suggestions

  1. After renovation, seal the room for 12 hours before testing
  2. PM2.5 sampling must adopt the impact weighing method and the duration must be ≥20h
  3. When radon concentration exceeds the standard, protective measures such as sealing floor cracks should be taken
