- This document specifies the main assembly and system components involved in the three guarantees of household automobile products (hereinafter referred to as "auto products"), the scope of types of consumable parts, and the three guarantee certificates. This document is applicable to the relevant activities of the producers, sellers and repairers of automobile products to fulfill the Three Guarantees responsibility for automobile products.

For the first time, the standard includes the capacity attenuation of power batteries into the three guarantees management, requiring manufacturers to clearly indicate:
- Test method (Ah/Wh)
- Attenuation limit during the three guarantees validity period (e.g. ≤20%)
- Attenuation limit during the warranty period (e.g. ≤30%)
Typical case: A pure electric vehicle has a battery capacity degradation of 35% within 2 years. Consumers can replace the battery assembly according to the requirements of this standard.
Key points for the implementation of the three-guarantee certificate
The new version of the certificate must contain 9 categories of information, among which the key new items are:
- The date of vehicle delivery is used as the starting point for the three-guarantee calculation
- Pickup trucks are listed as a separate vehicle type
- Parallel imported vehicles must be accompanied by the three-guarantee insurance policy number
- The transmission system adds a reducer component
