Normative references 2 This document specifies the environmental test methods, severity levels and functional safety requirements for fire protection electronic products. This document is applicable to all kinds of fire protection electronic products. For fire-fighting electronic products used in special places, if more severe environmental test conditions than this document are adopted, the test method can also refer to this document, except that the test parameters are otherwise specified.
Introduction

Safety requirementsUnspecifiedFSIL classification (hardware/software integrity assessment)

Detailed explanation of key test methods

1. Temperature test

High temperature operation test is divided into controller type (16h) and detector type (2h), with the highest severity level reaching 70±2℃. Low temperature test has added -40℃ working condition to simulate extreme cold environment.

2. Electromagnetic compatibility test

Case: In the RF radiation immunity test, an alarm controller needs to withstand 10V/m field strength in the 80MHz-1GHz frequency band and pass the orthogonal polarization test.

Implementation recommendations

  1. Industrial scenario products should choose Level III and above severity levels
  2. FSIL assessment requires simultaneous verification of hardware failure rate (PFDavg) and software architecture
  3. Outdoor equipment must undergo a alternating damp heat + dust combination test

Technology evolution analysis

The new version of the standard introduces the IEC 61000-4 series of electromagnetic compatibility requirements, and the test parameters are increased by 30%-50% compared to the 2005 version. The newly added power frequency magnetic field test is specially optimized for electrical fire monitoring equipment.
