Scope
This document specifies the basic parameters and models, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, accompanying documents, signs, packaging and transportation of double-shield rock tunnel boring machines in full-face tunnel boring machines. This document applies to the design, manufacture and use of double-shield rock tunnel boring machines (hereinafter referred to as tunnel boring machines) among full-face tunnel boring machines.
Introduction

Analysis of the core content of the standard

GB/T41056-2021 is my country's first special standard for double-shield rock tunnel boring machines. It systematically standardizes the technical requirements for the entire chain of equipment design, manufacturing and engineering application for the first time. The standard innovatively establishes a double shield TBM performance evaluation system, and its technological evolution is mainly reflected in:

  • Introduction of mandatory requirements for back-mounted cutters on the cutter head (diameter ≥4.5m)
  • Additional accuracy indicators for roll adjustment devices
  • Specify that the design life of the main bearing is ≥15,000 hours

Key technologies of mechanical system

Cutter system

Standard requirements: The flatness of the cutter disc panel must reach GB/T37400.3-E level, and the tool installation radius deviation must be controlled within ±2mm. The theoretical torque is calculated using the rolling resistance coefficient method:

Propulsion system

Dual-mode thrust calculation model:

  • Main propulsion mode: FZT=K1×(F3+F5)
  • Auxiliary propulsion mode: FFT=K1×(F1+F2+F3+F4)

The grounding pressure of the support shoe must be ≤4MPa (5.2.6.2)


Electrical and safety control

Innovative provisions of the standard:

  1. The high and low voltage systems must be equipped with five-protection interlocking devices (5.4.1.5)
  2. The angular measurement accuracy of the total station of the guidance system is ≥2″ (5.5.1)
  3. The emergency stop switch requires a two-stage reset (5.4.7.1)

Implementation suggestions

Design phase

  • Give priority to using variable frequency drive main motor (5.2.2.9)
  • The outer diameter of the shield adopts a gradient design with larger front and smaller back (5.2.3.7)

Construction phase

  • Strictly monitor the oil contamination degree (≤GB/T14039-2002-/18/15)
  • Regularly check the guide system base point (5.5.6)
