- Scope
- This document specifies the basic parameters, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, as well as marking, accompanying documents, transportation and storage of pedestrian lift platform trucks. This document is applicable to pedestrian lift platform trucks with a rated lifting capacity not exceeding $1000~\mathrm{kg}$ and a maximum lifting height not exceeding $1700~\mathrm{mm}$, which can be lifted by manpower or electric (battery-powered).

1. Standard Background and Revision Notes
GB/T 27543-2023 "Walking Lift Platform Truck" is revised on the basis of GB/T 27543-2011, mainly updating the scope of application, term definitions, basic parameters and technical requirements. The new standard adds a number of safety and environmental protection requirements, optimizes the test methods, and strengthens the product performance indicators.

3. Interpretation of key technical requirements
5.2.1 When the platform vehicle is operating under no load or rated load, the movement of each component should be normal, and there should be no jamming or abnormal sound. This requirement ensures the smooth operation and reliability of the equipment.
5.2.9 The natural sliding amount of the table should not exceed 25mm in the first 10 minutes. The sealing performance of the hydraulic system can be effectively verified through the test method (see 6.5.4).
5.6.10 The noise sound pressure level at the operator's position should not be greater than 75dB(A). This requirement improves the operating environment and protects the occupational health of users.
4. Upgraded safety and environmental protection requirements
- Added low voltage protection function (see 5.6.13) to prevent over-discharge of batteries.
- Strengthened insulation resistance requirements to ensure electrical safety (see 5.6.6-5.6.7).
- Added noise test method (see 6.15) to meet environmental protection requirements.
5. Implementation suggestions
When implementing the standard, enterprises should:
- Strictly design and produce products in accordance with the standard requirements.
- Establish a complete quality inspection system to ensure that all indicators meet the standards.
- Strengthen staff training to improve their understanding and operational capabilities of the new standards.
- Regularly maintain equipment to extend its service life and reduce safety hazards.
