- Scope
- This document specifies the general requirements, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging and storage of Y-type cast iron filters for pipelines (hereinafter referred to as "Y-type filters"). This document is applicable to Y-type filters with nominal size DN50~DN600, nominal pressure PN6~PN40, or Class s75~Cl as s300, medium temperature not greater than 80 ℃ water or other liquids whose physical and chemical properties are similar to water.

Wall thickness calculation formula takes into account both fluid mechanics and casting process requirements:
SB = (p×DN)/(2σ - p) + C- SB——actual wall thickness including corrosion allowance (mm)
- σ——allowable material stress (120MPa for ductile iron)
