Hygiene specification for feed processing machinery (English Version)
GB40162-2021 is the first mandatory national standard in the field of feed machinery hygiene in my country. It puts forward systematic hygiene requirements for key equipment such as mixers and grinders. For the first time, the standard clearly defines 23 professional terms such as product contact surfaces and dead corners, and integrates hygiene risk control throughout the entire life cycle of the equipment.
Technical Dimensions | Additive Premix Equipment | Compound Feed Equipment | Test Methods |
---|---|---|---|
Material Requirements | Must Use Stainless Steel | Ordinary Carbon Steel + Anti-corrosion Treatment | Material Certification + Visual Inspection |
Residual Rate Control | ≤0.5% | ≤1.2% | Weighing Method Detection |
Dust Removal Requirements | Anti-static Bags | Ordinary Waterproof Bags | Resistance test |
Standard 4.1.2 stipulates that dynamic contact parts such as mixer blades must be made of 06Cr19Ni10 stainless steel; silo observation windows should be made of food-grade plastics such as polycarbonate. Special case: A company used ordinary rubber seals, which caused a vitamin B2 degradation accident.
According to the requirements of Article 4.1.4.1.1 of the standard for ruminant feed production line, it is recommended that:
The fluorescent labeling method recommended in Chapter 5 of the standard should be noted in actual application:
Compared with EU Regulation (EC) No 183/2005, this standard has stricter requirements in terms of corrosion-resistant materials (4.1.2.1.4) and residual rate (4.6). After implementation, about 15% of obsolete production capacity will be eliminated, and the application of new technologies such as self-cleaning mixers will be promoted.
