Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, hygienic requirements, verification of hygienic requirements, and use information of feed processing machinery. This standard applies to feed processing machinery for the production of additive premixed feed, concentrated feed, compound feed and concentrate supplements, including stand-alone equipment and complete processing equipment (hereinafter referred to as "equipment").

Standard 4.1.2 stipulates that dynamic contact parts such as mixer blades must be made of 06Cr19Ni10 stainless steel; silo observation windows should be made of food-grade plastics such as polycarbonate. Compared with EU Regulation (EC) No 183/2005, this standard has stricter requirements in terms of corrosion-resistant materials (4.1.2.1.4) and residual rate (4.6).
