Scope

This document describes the general principles and common requirements for physical hazard risk assessment for consumer product safety. This document is suitable for conducting physical hazard risk assessment of consumer product safety.

Key Technical Points

1. Injury Scenario Construction

The standard requires the establishment of an injury scenario model containing 8 major elements. Taking magnetic toys as an example, the following factors need to be considered:

• The frequency of children swallowing magnetic beads (≥2 beads)
• Pathological mechanism of intestinal perforation
• Effectiveness of existing warning signs

The composite weight calculation formula is used: P=40%P₁+30%P₂+30%P₃
