Scope
This document specifies optional test methods for testing the flow characteristics of pneumatic components. This document is only applicable to the test of the decreasing portion of the hysteresis curve of the forward flow and overflow flow characteristics that meet the following conditions: ——Compared with the response of the pressure change in the inflation and deflation test, the pressure of the tested component changes fast enough, negligible; — no overshoot or oscillations in the pressure response. This document specifies the requirements for test setups, test procedures and test results. This document gives examples of test results (see appendix A), various data processing methods (see appendix B), visualized data processing procedures (see appendix C), and gives adjustment pressure response overshoot and undershoot and import Graphical illustration of pressure variations outside the permissible range (see Appendix D). This document applies to the following components: --- ISO6953-1 pressure reducing valve and filter pressure reducing valve; --- electro-pneumatic pressure control valve in accordance with ISO10094; --- Other components, such as relief valves. NOTE: If pressure regulation characteristics are required, ISO 6953 2 applies.
Introduction

Interpretation of the core content of the standard

GB/T20081.3-2021 is equivalent to the ISO69533:2012 international standard, and innovatively proposes the use of isothermal gas tanks to replace the traditional flow meter test method. This method calculates the flow characteristics by measuring the pressure change of the gas tank, which is energy-saving and efficient.

Comparison of key technologies

Comparison dimensions Methods in this document ISO69532 method
Test time Reduced to 1/10 Conventional time
Air consumption Reduced to 1/30 Full flow consumption
Applicable flow range Capable of measuring large flow elements Limited by air source

Test equipment requirements

The standard stipulates that the test circuit must include:

  • Isothermal gas tank with a volume that conforms to ISO63582
  • Solenoid valve with sonic conductance ≥ 4 times that of the measured element
  • Pressure sensor with an accuracy of ±0.5%
  • Thermometer with a measurement error of ±1K

Special note: The volume of the gas tank must satisfy the formula Vup2max>Vd(pu-p1)

Data processing method

Three-level smoothing is used:

  1. Moving average method is used to calculate pressure data
  2. Median value method is used to eliminate abnormal fluctuations
  3. Flow calculation formula:
    qv(j)=V(p'3(j+1)-p'3(j-1))/(2Δtρ0RT3)

Appendix B shows data processing examples for three typical valve bodies (direct-acting, pilot-operated, and electro-pneumatic).

Implementation suggestions

Application scenario selection:

  • Prioritized for testing large flow pressure reducing valves
  • When pressure overshoot/undershoot occurs, switch to ISO69532
  • For small flow elements, it is recommended to use 10dm3 small gas tanks

Quality control points:

  • Ensure that the inlet pressure fluctuation is ≤±1%
  • Temperature change is controlled within ±3K
  • Phase difference<2 sampling cycles
