- This standard specifies the requirements for self-environmental declarations. Environmental declarations include descriptions, symbols and graphics related to products; selectively provides some common terms and applicable restrictions in environmental declarations; specifies the requirements for self-environmental declarations. General methods for evaluation and verification, and specific methods for evaluation and verification of selected claims in this standard. This standard does not exclude, replace or in any other way change the legally required environmental information, declarations or labels, and any other applicable legal requirements.
