Scope

This standard specifies the properties to be assessed, the test methods to be used, and establishes uniform requirements for properties and dimensions. This standard applies to the specification of flexible multilayer printed boards with through connections, regardless of their manufacturing method, and is intended to serve as the basis for an agreement between the supplier and the purchaser. The term "relevant specification" used in this standard refers to such an agreement. This standard does not apply to flat cables.
