- Scope
- This standard specifies the basic requirements for the material and hardness, appearance and surface roughness, precision, marking and packaging of gear hobs with a modulus (according to GB/T 1357) of 1 to 40 mm. Hob accuracy is divided into: AA, A, B, C four. Hobs manufactured according to this standard are used to process gears whose basic tooth profiles are specified in GB/T 1356. This standard applies to single-head gear hobs with a modulus equal to or greater than that specified in GB/T 6083.
