- Scope
- This standard specifies the hot oven test method for verifying the quality of PVC-U, PVC-C, ABS and ASA injection molded pipe fittings. This standard applies to pressure-bearing pipe fittings and non-pressure-bearing pipe fittings for drainage, and also to pipe fittings with elastic sealing ring sockets, flanges and pipe fittings composed of injection molded parts. Note: The liquid bath method can also be used if required, see Appendix A (standard appendix)
